The Principal Doctor of Brentwood Park Family Practice since June 2005. Dr Mirranay has worked as a G.P. in this area for many years. He has many years experience of working in Emergency Departments of public hospitals including the Royal Children’s Hospital and extensive experience in paediatric medicine. He also has experience in other areas of medicine including family medicine, travel medicine and minor surgery. Dr Mirranay is also involved in the clinical teaching of Monash University medical students in the discipline of general practice.

Dr Ganga Samarakoon
Dr Samarakoon joined the practice team in February 2011. She graduated as a medical doctor at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Since migrating to Australia, she has undertaken further medical studies and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has interests in Children’s Health, Mental Health – Anxiety & Depression, Women’s Health and Family Medicine and is available Monday to Friday. In her leisure time she enjoys reading and photography.
Dr Maryam Delavari
Dr Delavari joined our team in June 2013. Coming to Australia in 2008 she has dedicated the last four years to a PhD in Migration and Weight Management. Dr Delavari is very much interested in lifestyle modification advice, weight control for all ages as well as women’s health. She is a Provider of Focused Psychological Strategies. She is fluent in English and also speaks Farsi and Dari.
